Hope, here are two quick versions. The rossitto one has some issues. Hopefully someone can do better.

Rossitto: depth .100, optimization to best

voyager: depth .25, optimization to best

See if this is of interest. It was made with vector groups in 3.002 and Sculptor. (Now in 1.187)
