Looking for help removing the old probe cable from the z-track. I'm helping a new carver update an older A-model machine with a new Carvetight spindle. Attached to the back of the z-track is a small white cable... which I assume is the cable for the old probe connection. It disconnects from the z-track but how does the other end disconnect. If there is a PDF of the procedure please point me to it. SharonB

It can just be removed. Not necessary. Tech said to just pull it out.

Sent a email but it sounds like it has a old 18 pin FSC Cable too. I would replace it with a A907 Kit.

See document to identify if he needs A907.

Well, things got put back together.... after a day and a half of just cleaning sawdust out of all three motors and all the crannies. New 14 pin ribbon and z-motor. Tomorrow is testing day to see if the machine will run. This machine is a good example of why a dust collecting systems is a requirement. It has been a good learning experience for me as well as the new carver.
