Just wanted to say hi and to introduce myself, I'm new to the CarveWright way and have just finished my first real carve. It's a tribute to my father. I know I still have so much to learn, but wanted to thank everyone for all the posts. l have learned so much from this forum! I hope to become an extended part of your family!

Thank you - I'm glad I can carry on his love for woodworking. He liked the big items though - hutches that take 4 men to carry, etc. I knew I couldn't do the big stuff, but hoping to find my groove (or carve)!

Thanks Kevin! This forum has been a life line for me (and seriously, it was one of the reasons I went with the CarveWright). You all are awesome!

Thanks Dbemus. I read through several of them last night and going to read through some more tonight. I had been thinking the forums would have more updated information, since some of the tips were many years old, but I am getting alot out of it! Thanks for the gentle push (sometimes I need that) ;)
