This was the first time I had carved this mantle.
It was donated to a fund raiser for a motorcyclist who
was injured a few months back.
I was surprised it went at auction for $500.

Wow that is so beautiful. Turned out great. Well worth the $500. You should be proud of yourself.

Thank You!
I have been selling one a month of different designs.
I was glad it brought so much (over $300 more than I usually get).

Great job, really came out nice. I tried to sell that one on an 8"x48" for $100 at a very large craft show with no luck. It depends so much on location. I was in a Wal-Mart type crowd.

Once again, thank you for all your complements.
I have been selling these (7.5x70") for $150 usually one a month.
I know that is too cheap , but they are selling and people are wanting custom orders too.
I prefer to buy the patterns separately, it gives me more control on depth, width and height of the different elements.
It also lets me copy and paste the background pattern to achieve the desired length/height ratio without distortion.
