I finally finished a project I started about a year ago. Most of that year was spent on refining the pattern on the computer while working around other commitments. Also I tend to work a little slow. This is a copy of a Reverie Harp sold by company called Musicmakers in Minnesota. http://www.harpkit.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=revharp
I first saw one of these last year while I was in a VA Hospital. I thought it was cute and something I wanted to make. I made the pattern based on my memory of having seen it, pictures I copied off of the internet and what few measurements I could find on the company website. The wood is hard maple cut and planed from rough cut lumber. I bought the hardware kit from the company to complete it. I am reasonably pleased with how it turned out. It was a fun project.

Very cool. Went to the website and listening to the harp as I am writing this. Very pretty. Are you getting similar tones from yours? You made a great looking instrument as well.

I only have the one picture for now. I used a digital tuner to tune so it sounds pretty much like the ones you were listening to.

Great project, really like the look of the final product. My musical talents don't exist but I can appreciate a beautiful instrument. You should take pride in
the creation of such an instrument, especially without a design package to work from.
Thx for sharing .

Impressive project. Where do you get the hardware for something like this and how do you know what hardware to get?
