removed traction belts now found rubber piece

i took off the drive belts to try and make a repair to the belt not to successful either. but when cleaning i found the little rubber piece laying in the botton on the right side same as controls and i have no idea where it belongs i do not want to reassemble until i know does anyone have any ideas

That is the board tracking sensor damper spring. See page 3.
