See capture, what makes this happen? I didn't do anything, and nothing has happened to my system that I know of.

Actually I tried restarting the computer first and that's all it took. Started up and runs fine.. very strange.

I had the same problem last night. I had to reinstall and reboot my computer. Worked great afterward.

let's see,
First of August
no changes to cause it
seemingly only carvewright having issues?

is it only free versions or do some of you have version 3 affected as well?
Can you post type of computer and op sys?

I have version 3. My guess is that Windows Updater is pushing new updates to prepare for windows 10. I saw that mine was downloading updates when it happened.

It happened to me also. Version 3. Another previous thread has others with the same problem.

The update idea seems to make sense. My laptop with windows 7 has auto update turned off and didn't have that problem. I have done an update since but still no problem.

I just installed Norton Security to my PC and laptop yesterday (and made sure all Windows updates were installed) and the only program that didn't work for me was Adobe Acrobat 9.5 Standard. It turned out that somehow a setting got changed in MS Office that wouldn't allow the correct files to load for Adobe.
Computer and Designer info is in my signature.
