we have been working on flower garden and trail at our church, i will be carving some plaques to be placed in several locations along trail. this is just a trial as of yet but gonna carve some quotes from Bible. this is carved on cedar, for being able to withstand the elements and it is glued to a concrete paver, any other suggestions for plaques and how to finish them to withstand the elements would be highly acceptable

Looks very good indeed. I think polyurethane is a good product for outdoors.

yeah been kinda busy with work and grandchildren havent been posting much, but i have been keeping up with the forum, i have seen the conference come and go several years since the first one , i miss it but that is usually the week i spend with all my grandchildren on vacation. i miss going.

i have sealed it but have not put any polly on it as of yet.

I agree with your choice for poly. I use the same all the time for outdoor projects and have had great performance and a long life with it....

I have to agree that for outdoor survival there's need a few coats of spar urethane.
