The fish plaque was designed by grandson Michael and painted by his wife Christy. The small disks are centers for pine needle baskets (2-12 " dia. or less). The last is a wedding plaque that needs finished, for the youngest grandson's wedding at the end of the month. Just need the weather to cool a little so the shop isn't so unpleasantly warm.7683376835768347683676837

Great use of the plaques in the bottom of the baskets. Great job, are you making the baskets yourself? Do you have a picture of a finished basket from all sides, top, bottom, sides etc. I'm extremely interested. It's really funny, as I saw the second image, i was about to email you to ask you what the holes were for? I was thinking maybe a dream catcher. hay, maybe not a bad idea if it will sell. Good Luck. Great work, Sharon! I love the pine needle baskets and, like John, am interested in more details about them, too.

I am constantly reminded of the many uses that can be satisfied with this machine, the centerpiece in the baskets is a really neat idea. As always your painting techniques as outstanding.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I like sharing projects almost as much as I like seeing what others have designed.

Robert... I thought the Rose pattern was a VictorClip3D pattern but I'm not 100 percent sure. If I find out just where I got it I'll let you know. I wish I was a pattern maker but I find it hard lately to even find time to turn the carving machine on.
