I would like announce now you create a litho with the light package at is only 3/4" or 1" thick. No boxes are needed.
I found a 1/4" thick x 8" x10 " or 6" x 8" LED light pad from a wed site www.candlestonegifts.com (http://www.candlestonegifts.com) . He and I have been testing the new litho material called candlestone. His claim is the candle stone is better that glacier white by Corian.
He sells many different sizes for the litho carvings, There is a very nice night light kit available at a very reasonable price.

He has agreed to give the CW carvers for the next 2 weeks a 10% discount on any orders, just use the promo code "cwconf"
if you order. I showed the litho and night lights at the conference and it was well received.
Take a look at the pictures.
I also found a standard 3/4" Kmart frame for $3.40 that had a 1/2" recess and the 1/4" litho and 1/4" light pad fit in just fine.

If you have any questions I will send you a picture of the sled to hold the night light carving material later.

Yes they are $34.00 each. A bit pricey, huh? It looks like great results. I guess you get what you pay for.

Can you tell me the settings you use for carvewright that give you the best results using candlestone? Thank you

Well the web site suggest about .14, I did mine at .18, height at 450.
when you consider you don,t have cost of the box material, all the LED parts, or puck light coast paint, building the box,
you find a frame with a 1/2" or3/4" inset, or make it your self.
you take it out the package and place it in the frame and you are finish. To me that justifies it to me.
not to mention the 10% discount, also anything over $50. Is free shipping.
i get over double the coast when I sell them, your choice.
i know I,m not going to any more boxes.

Just a short note, 1 week more on the 10% discount on the litho carving material, LED light pads and night lights kits.
I just got 3 orders for logo lithos, 8 x 10 and I will use the light pads. Just think no boxes.

Perry, could you send a photo of what the light package looks like? Thanks
I can't tell anything from the side and back of the picture frame.

That is solid. So, go the the candlestonegift website for the candlestone and the light kit? Then the picture frame at Kmart? The rest is as is I take it...I will just ask, will you brain dump all this info for us? I am swamped with USMC ball orders but plan to really do some "I want to" stuff...

They look very good, I see george just completed one with a store bought frame with the deep set inset.
I like the fact you just take the light package out the box and in 5 minutes you are finished.
I spoke to the deleveper a while back and he may make a 5 x 7 from a 6 x 8 light pad. That would be better than 6 x 9
IMO.

this may be a long shot, but does anyone have an 8 x 10 led panel from candlestonegifts.com that they would be willing to sell? They are currently out of them and I need one for a gift. I contacted them and they said they would hopefully be in stock in a month. I need one sooner and can't wait. If not does anyone know where I could get one elsewhere.
