Jog

Could someone point me to a tutorial about *jog to position* I had a cave quit 3/4 the way through. So, I thought that I may as well try to learn from this. I assume that I can continue a carve where it stopped, hope so? I did try to restart-jog to position at the 3/4 point and it just started the beginning of the carve. Wasn't pretty but educational :-). Thank you.

You cannot jog to position and restart midway in a carve. What you need to do is make a carved region covering all of the area that was already carved and set the depth to "0". The machine will not carve that area and will start where the "0" carved area ends.

DocWheeler posted a pretty good tutorial on using the jog function. Do a search for "Jog to position" and you should find it. Hope this helps.
