The litho to the left is the 1/4" 4x6
The litho to the right is the 1/8" 4x6
Put them on my light table and took the photo.

The 1/4" looks to have a little better contrast. What were the depths in each case?

I did the 1/8" depth at 0.100 at 450 High
I did the 1/4" depth at 0.155 at 450 High
Will do one at the setting you gave me 0.110 might make a differance

One would expect the thicker material to give better contrast since there is greater variation in depth. What I was thinking was that the 1/8" would require less light and the contrast could still be good if it was carved as deep as possible.

I agree with your thoughts on the 1/8", Dan. It should take less light, but the contrast may still be an issue even at .110 versus the 1/4" given difference in thickness. There is certainly some great options for the 1/8" as well as the 1/4". Nice to have the options....
