Has your bit plate gotten bent? Head not cranked down enough?

What bit? What Designer version? When, exactly, do you get the message?

Load Bit is usually the bit missing the bit plate for any number of reasons and then the Z goes down TOO Far triggering a "Hey... Load a Bit" message...

Bit plate not extending far enough and with that the cut motor wires not tucked into the back corner and the truck is hitting the wires and not reaching the bit plate...

Y Gearbox or Y roller rail bearings dirty.

Dirty bit plate workings.

Bad FFC Cable.

Dirty Z Encoder.

Bit installed to shallow or to long. Also look where the bit goes by the control end for a hole that the bit will not find depth.
