74772This has been a fun project so far. This is the first one my wife really got excited about and wanted to help, she did the painting. I'm thinking of staining the background of the four corner's with the circles in them. I'm considering either gunstock or red oak. Then time to polyurethane it. Sorry the picture isn't very good using my phone.

Yes, that is gorgeous. Very nice detailed carving pattern, and beautiful finishing, too! I love the "Old World" look.

maybe it's my eyes, but the picture look excellent. Great work and tell your wife she has a great talent in her painting skills. Are you using 3.0?

Thank you for the compliments. My wife was so thrilled when she read how ya'll liked her painting. I was very impressed with it myself. Don't know If I want to sale this one or keep it for ourselves. Trying to get several different things carved so I can enter one of the various bazars we have in town.
