Newest Project for a parish fire dept.

This was the result from a request for some personal awards for the local fire dept.
Then it turned in a plaque for the podium for the fire chief and will also I will do some golf tournament awards
later on this year.
Thanks to BJB for his help with pattern.
The wood that was used is very old cypress and had some water marks on it which perfect for the plaque.

Beautiful piece of work. The chief will be overwhelmed, a tribute that shows what everyone thinks of him. Am sure the rest of the items requested will also do you proud.

Thanks for all the comments, it was a simple pattern, but the biggest selling point was the type of wood I used. All the fellows I dealt with all live in a 20 mile radius
and they all hunt and fish in the basin, so when I mention I would use some aged cypress, they all knew what I was talking about. They have all been around aged cypress all their life and like the way it finishes.
It is always good to bring in some woods that is local to the area.
