I like to thank bergerud and bjbethke for helping figuring out the pattern.

I need a way to drill a hole in a tool handle I was making for a carbide lathe tool.
I had the handle held on the lathe with scroll chuck and the steady rest was used to keep the handle supported while I held a jacob chuck and started at 1/4 drill bit and went up to a 27/64.

Here is a video of it in use, not that good of video but it shows it running. About the first minute of the video. the rest is me walking around.
May want to turn volume down.

Are those rollerskate or skate board wheels? Way to re-purpose!

They are inline skate wheels.
Took them from a broken set of inline skates my niece had. I also picked up a set from the salvation army for $3. Have enough wheels left to make 2 more.

Wonderful job. It looks great and I saw no vibration even when you sped it up to full speed.
