Not really sure where to put this so here it is. Lots of people have commented and asked about the box joints I use in my projects so thought I would show what I use. This is a shop made jig of my own design. It is loosely based off of a very small jig I got from Rockler, which I still use to do 1/4" joints for drawers and trays.

This is made from 1/2" MDF, base is same as my router table with a fence that's 12" tall. It works great except I have not figured out a good way to collect the chips and that's a pain. I keep the air nozzle close and blast it every couple cuts to keep chips out of the way, even a small one will throw things off.

Any questions please ask. I love box joints, strong, look good and if they are tight, you are sure the box is square.

I have seen in wordworking magazine this pattern for clamping the 90 degree I have made them at different sizes to fit to the boxes I make it works well and are good for stacking and keeping them out of the way you can use the table saw to make sure you get the 90 degrees.
