Thanks everyone for the comments. Cheryl designs most of our graphics in designer. We plan on making a collection of most of them sometime later in the year and list in the pattern depot. I do have a question about centerline text. We use 1.87 Do the later versions (2 & 3 ) have faster carve times for the text. The Fire fighter plaque is over a 4 hour carve.

They do have improvements for Centerline:
Centerline Text PLUS

The Centerline Text algorithms have been rewritten to make cutting much faster and cleaner. (Centerline license required)



The difference is really going to be seen, if you make the carved rectangular region a little shallower. That is what is making most of your carve time. See what depth the pattern of the fireman is. Don't make it any more than that.

You can see the difference in time with the software, even without carving.

We have debated upgrading to 3. With more requests for text plaques now might be the time to move up.

I have to agree the Firefighters plaque is AMAZING! Great design, and that poem.... hard to read without getting a little emotional.

I have been trying to run patterns off the board to show partial but they all want to run into the border. I can't get them to stay within the carve region and show partial. How did you do that with the tractors, I'm trying to do similar with an eagle pattern I bought.

Under "Carving" Use the Clip Carving Inclusive.
