I usually dont make a lot of signs with my Carvewright, mainly use it for prototyping parts. But had a friend that wanted a rustic sign made for her dad. She wasn't sure of what she wanted and gave me complete control. Had fun with it.

Great looking sign, Robert. I especially like the paint job on the skull.

Splendid Sign
I have that same pattern it carves great. I even modified it to put on horn mounts. Your taxidermist might even buy some of those from you.
It looks like you hit it with a wire brush to make the grain stand out, or is that a texture?

Very nice work. You did a great job making the skull look weathered.

Great Job on finish and I like the horns best.
Spectacular finish on the skull and horns. The rest of the finishing is darned good looking also.

That is a really cool idea! I will share that with my friends father and see if he would like one.
The background is a texture I applied and then hit it with stain and finished it off with a brown wax to give it that depth.
