Can fonts be added

Designer uses your computer fonts, so what ever fonts you have installed is what shows up.

The Designer software does not contain any fonts. It looks at your font folder and accesses the fonts you have on your computer.

Just add them to your font folder. You may need to close and reopen Designer. Then go to the Text tool and you should see the fonts there. They do need to be TrueType fonts particularly in the newer versions that have the ability to warp text and apply text to a path.

I downloaded 1 font to see if it worked but it's still not showing up in designer I shut the computer down and restarted and still no font. does the computer come with a font folder? I just assumed all the fonts in designer came with the program.

If it is Windows that it should be under c://windows/fonts


MS Excel, Word, etc all look to the same font folder.

the fonts you have on your comp is the one come CW you can add more fonts

No fonts come with CW. That's the fonts your computer came with.

Ive added tons of fonts. You have to download them to your computer, open the file, click on the true type font zip file and and up in the left hand page there will be an install button, Click there and keep adding as many as you want. It will be available in every program in your computer just not carvewright.

Don't go crazy overloading with fonts and remember not all fonts are good ones to carve. Have fun.

I only ad fonts I know will work and I do find some I wish would work but know they wont!
