need help with editing text in 3.0

attached is a sign I am playing with in 3.0 and I was under the impression you could change the height of different letters in a word.
I would like to have the first letter in each word larger that the rest of the word, yet keep the all caps style. Can this be done in the 3.0 text editing.
I high lighted the "rest" in "crest" and reduced the letter height, yet nothing seems to change. can this be done, if so please give me some instructions on the .

You may have to enter the letters you want larger as individual text entries and then scale them

It does not work for me either. The size (and things like bold and italics) apply to all the text. Highlighting seems only to work to select letters for spacing.

Designer 2.0, page 7 said you could change separate letter sizes, but it does not give any steps to do it.
maybe some body may have better luck with it or give us some steps, hint, hint LHR.

It says that you highlight the letter that you want to change the size of. It simply does not work. I will report it as a bug.
