Hey guys. Maybe I'm expecting to much, but is the quality of the carve shown normal? Nice and smooth is places, and very fuzzy on others. This is on maple.7364773648

Did you use bit optimization in designer and then what quality did you use when you uploaded the MPC to your flash drive ... What carving bit did you use...

That is sometimes the nature with maple, i carve it a lot. You almost have to use a brand new bit to get a clean carve... if it's dull at all you will get the fuzzys. Not a big deal, it sands right off clean. Maple is kind of unforgiving, it shows every bit path. Use the bit optimization, best quality and a sharp bit, then expect to do some hand work for best result.

Bit optimization was set to Best, bit is new from CW. Upload was Normal.

I would upload as best or optimal. Did maple not long ago as normal and did not come out nice at all....a bit like yours.

I agree with the best or optimal setting especially for maple. The normal setting usually doesn't look very good with any wood type...

I use Best for carve quality and best on all uploads bit optimization Best never had any problem with red oak, white oak, ash or most all other hard woods. unless it has large open grain like some of the pine. then I would pick up fuzzy .
