I had a customer who wanted a set of nesting tables built. I found a nice set of plans in one of my Wood Magazines and customized the tops to give them a little Celtic personality. The Pattern Depot has a nice assortment of Celtic ideas and he really liked the design I came up with. I am glad I have these complete as I still have a half dozen of things to carve and finish before the Holidays. I am getting a little idea what Santa has to go through (but without the help from the elves). Not a problem though, as both my machines are humming right along and the ones left are fun projects to build as well....

Thank you for the kind words, Sharon and Suzanne. I have been building furniture for over 30 years, but the Carvewright adds so many more options. It has really been a great addition to my shop....

Thank you so much, Connie and Aok. I really appreciate it.... I just received a note from my customer and he likes the pictures I sent to him as well (which is kind of important :) ). I hope his wife likes her Christmas present when she gets them....

I would trade all my posts for a talent like yours at making furniture.

Thanks guys for the input. I have seen your work, CNC Carver and you are very talented. I don't believe you would have any issues with building furniture at all. Good suggestions, AL, but I don't think the craft show folks would like my pricing. The tables would make great wedding presents and with the help of the Carvewright, they can be customized to about any extent which makes them even more special. I will pass on the kudos to the right person, dbemus as my bride does all my finishing. She has come a long way and really works hard at it. She is very picky which works well for a finisher. She also likes the $$ she gets from me for doing it :) .... I wouldn't trade that arrangement for the world...
