Hello all, although i have had my carvewright a while i am a new user basically. I just bought a lot of add on software and am trying out the features. I am trying to make a simple wooden spoon i draw an oval or a circle - i have tried extrude and sweep i can not seem to get the middle of the circle to carve out in a spoon shape. Any ideas would be appreciated!

I think an inverted puff would be best for a spoon. Puffs are also smoother than sweeps.

Type "spoon" in the search box. A lot of threads will come up with free patterns. However this may defeat the learning process which may be your main goal. By the way they are great sellers at craft shows,.

If you are going to use the sweep tool then the arc goes from the center to the edge, not all the way across. The red line represents the middle. So it would look more like this to get what you want:

Wow thanks perfect! Also the inverted puff works. I need to spend some serious time exploring the features!
