cutout to pattern

7264372643I am wanting to make a Christmas tree ornament of the celtic cross I purchased. Is there a way to make the cutout actually follow the cross profile, or should I stick with the way my current mpc is set up?

Select the pattern and select "outline Pattern" tool...
