Hello,

Working on finishing the November POM for you! I was working on a different project originally, but decided that particular one was more suited for a Deep Carve project as a separate for-sale project a little later on down the road. So...I started a brand new project from scratch last week and it put me a bit closer to the deadline than I thought. I'm really happy with this new project and hope you will be too, of course.

Here is a 'teaser' photo I took to see if I can get anybody drooling (and guessing what it is)! ;)

I'll wrap up the instructions and get the final finished photos done shortly. I'll post the real (and complete) project preview ASAP!

Looks like maybe a Christmas candle holder?

That's my guess too, a candle holder.

Cut outs are for glass tube? Putting candles inside?

I'll be waiting for this pattern to come out. Really like the holiday feeling of this project.

You all are great guessers! Yes, it's a candle centerpiece! (I like Connie's idea of the glass tubes for candles - I used something else for the "candles".)

here is the link to the real and complete POM preview for November 2014:

That is a great idea too! But, it is indeed a Candle Holder Centerpiece.

Just finishing up the trip and back in Tucson after 14000 miles in the RV and 18000 miles in the tow car... I plan to do an update post at some point soon after we complete a couple of side-trips to New Mexico and San Diego

Thanks for asking,
Lawrence

What a wonderful trip! I look forward to your next update post!

In 1967, I made a trip with a friend and his family (I was 12 years old). They bought a Winnebago (the fourth one off the assembly line!). We traveled all summer, went through 39 states and into Canada for the '67 World's Fair. One of the best and most memorable experiences of my life. So, I think I am living the "fantasy" of doing that sort of thing again through you!
