I have been using the carvewright 3/8" straight bit and it's been doing ok, but i want a better bit that stays sharper longer. I use the bit to hallowing out walnut and cherry alot. Is there a better bit for this something like an upspiral or downspiral 3/8" carbide bit?

I got a 3/8 upcut bit from Rockler back in the CT days and it didn't last at all. I currently use the 3/16 cutting bit for my larger area clearing. But I do mostly poplar and alder (poor man's cherry).
