I believe you can use them in the CT. You would have to put CT adapters on them.

I've used the 3/16 cutting bit and works great. I pressed it into old CT bit adapter. I'd order the carving bit also but have many extra's already.

They look like they should also should fit into the ER-11 adaptor which fits into the CT.

If you purchase these bits and then start having issues, please let us know that these are not bits we sold. The 1/16" carving like they it has more spirals than ours, while the 3/16 looks like it has less than ours.

I'm not against you buying other bits, but some of you may remember issues that we had with this in the past, where we got shorter carving surface bits or the cutting bits were burning....just sayin'. It just makes troubleshooting a whole lot easier, when we have this information.

I have used these bits for years, and have had no problems. I do use the rock chuck.

Thanks for the heads up. I have not decided to buy any of these. I just bought a set of CW bits from Home Depot a week ago. Went back to buy more and they are all sold out on line. That was the reason I was looking around. (SHIPPING FROM CW IS OUTRAGEOUS) thats the only reason I look other places.

We use these in our c machines, no issues to report, the 1/16th is a 4 flute ball nose bit and carves very clean. only issue is to mark the shaft length so that the carvewright recognizes the bit.

The helix angle of the bits is important. http://forum.carvewright.com/showthread.php?23584-New-1-8-quot-cutting-bit-causing-serious-overheating-problem. The 1/8" eBay bit looks like its helix angle is 30 or more, pretty standard for the industry, but not what the Carvewright bits are. I had serious burning issues - nearly started a fire - with the 4-flute helix angle at greater than 20.

I too have been using bits from this guy for quite a while and have never had a problem. Good quality, quick reasonable shipping. I used them in my Rock, but haven't tried in the CT yet.

I have been using these exact bits from this exact seller for over 2 years. I press old or broken bits out of Carvetight adaptors and press these in being careful to keep the length from the adapter base the same. They work great and I have no burning or other issues. I have not broken a cutting bit in years. I cant say whether its my experience in setting proper cutting depth passes or the bits but either way they work great. I have also complained about shipping rates at LHR especially when they charge so much and then ship it first class or flat rate priority and its obvious they charge triple or more than the cost. I know there is costs to run a shipping department because I run one but shipping should not be a profit center, thats what the sale is for.
