These are of white birch cut on an ankle and it take a while to dry them but coming out pretty good still some touch up to do yet ,, will post when finish again

Real nice I do a lot of basswood slabs with religious icons and they sell out at the arts and craft sales around my area.

Do you build a custom sled for each of these to use in the CW machine? If so do you have pictures of how you get the slabs in the machine. Very nice work.

Henry those came out nice. I have a big 16" by 8" walnut bowl I turned drying. I need to look at it, but dreading it for there may be cracks, and all the work will be for nothing.

Do you cut your own basswood slabs or buy them from a supplier?

I buy them from Hobby lobby or Michaels. I stock up when they have 40 or 50% off.

Yes I use a sled here they are how ever like to do it and I buy my slabs
