repeat last operation

I'm doing multiple identical carves, and tried to use the "repeat last operation" key on menu, but I can't select it. Whether I hit "enter" or "8", nothing happens. Is this not the purpose of this menu option?

that is only for the on board machine processes like rip cut, cross cut and etc. You will need to just run your project as normal.
