I am getting an error on the rear compression roller.
I cleaned it out and blow air under the end washers.
I check the sensors in the Options Menu, and the sensor is showing it is compressed.
I reached in and am able to lift it easily. I hear no click.
I read from a post years ago that the sensor had slipped and the person just glued it.

I am going to go look at the sensor. Do I get to it thru the side panel?

Thanks....

You get to it with care as you remove the keyboard side of the machine to better access the switch. If you are not careful you can RIP the wires going to the keypad.

When the roller is compressed it collects dust on the plate that it rests on when released. This dust builds up like filo dough and at some point the roller will be released but the little switch tang will NOT fall into the slot as seen in the picture.

I loosened the bottom plate and blew the dust out. Picture is sideway's sorry.
