Hey all I am Mike from Mississippi, I am a newbie, I am trying to convert a file to mpc so I can try my hand at carving a photo. I am thankful for any and all help and looking forward to being able to learn and one day help someone else.

Hi Mike -you sent me a PM the other day, I sent you my e-mail address back on a PM, Photographs are almost imposable to do with the CW unit. If you are good at making a line drawing or know a good looking Girl that can draw; It can be done with a $30.00 program called ShaderMap Pro - you need a grayscale height map image. Start with a good line drawing that is at least 300 DPI (dots-per-inch)

So that's how you do your stuff. I will have to log that software for a future investment.
