Is there a way to convert a photo to line art? I'm assuming it will require a drawing program of some sort.

Thanks

Yes. Using either PhotoShop or GIMP. HERE (https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=photo+to+line+drawing+gimp) is a youtube video showing how. I would suggest GIMP. It's free to download HERE (http://gimp.org) and is almost as powerful as PhotoShop that costs an arm and a leg.

I'm not sure of how it could be done in Photoshop but, it can be done in Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw also. I prefer Corel Draw. I don't have any experience with Gimp but, I hear it is pretty good.

I just watched a few tutorials on Gimp. It is quite impressive.

Steve, I use GIMP a lot when making patterns and to clean up photos when making litho's. The most impressive part, to me, is something that powerful is totally free. I do have an older version of PhotoShop but go to GIMP instead 99% of the time.
