missing padlock

Is there supposed to be a padlock between the dimension boxes in the toolbar in designer 1.187. If there is I don't have it and was wondering what to do to get it. Thanks

Try this, go to "view" "toolbars" and un select the "input" tool bar. Then go back and select it..

I have 1.87 installed on two computers and just noticed that I do not have a padlock on either computer also. I tried un-selecting the input tool bar then re selecting it as suggested with no help. I have 2.0 which has the padlock which makes me wonder was this something that came out in 2.0 or has it always been in 1.87?

Well I had to go look and you are correct the padlock does not show in 1.187

It locks the aspect ratio of x and y. if you change one dimension, the other will also change by the same ratio so the pattern scales the same in both directions. If you unlock it, you can change x and y independently.
