sweep test in 3.0

I am messing around with sweep in 3.0 and question is, how do you, are can you, make rounded ends when you use sweep or do you use something else? I don't want sq. ends at the end of a line or arc.

seem like I remember that Joe did it at one of conferences using only a single line, maybe not. I don't want to have to make all those lines.
