I had a need to make a rope pattern that was not the rectangle or circle patterns available in the forum so I decided to use the new "pattern along trajectory" feature and it worked well. I made a quick video to demonstrate.

That's a cool demo. Kinda hard to see, though. For some reason, the screen only takes up a tiny portion of the video area making everything very small. The video should take up the entire screen display area. Perhaps it was the way it was saved? I don't know.

I used webex to make the recording and didn't notice it was that way until after I uploaded it to youtube. I'll try to fix that. Also here is the pattern of the rope piece for anyone else who wants to play. I just made the outline and applied the puffing tool to create the pattern. If anyone wants to create a better version feel free.
