I have seen several references in this forum to archived issues of Tips and Tricks. However, I frequently receive either a message that the page is not available, or a black/gray page appears and it eventually returns to page listing the various issues. I know that I stumbled on to a reference to another site with detailed instructions for making corbels in designer. The author also said (I think) that he had posted a link for a free pattern. Now I can't find the post or the link. I tried to find the Feb '08 Tips and Tricks issue with corbel instructions, but it won't open. Help, and thanks! :p

I think I've determined that it's a problem with my computer. It works on my Macbook Pro, but not on my iMac. Any tips on why that might be?

Try installing another web browser. Firefox or Chrome for the Mac maybe?

Try installing/re-installing Adobe Reader on your computer:
http://get.adobe.com/reader/ (http://get.adobe.com/reader/)

Make sure you uncheck any special offers before installing.

Another thing that may be happening is that you have .pdf file format set to download instead of viewing in your browser. Check your default download location to see if the tips & tricks files you clicked on are there.
