Has anyone used L. Irish's Carving patterns in designer and how have the pieces as 2d worked for you?

I've tried importing some but they seem VERY jagged and not vectorized enough to give a clean line.

Anyone else have any experience and/or success with them?

I try to use some of them, but have the same results. The only way I can use them is to take them to Photoshop and clean them up. On some this takes hours to remove all of the extra pixels and convert to a usable gray scale. It's not worth it to me to spend that much time on something unles it's extra special and I'll use it a lot.
