Software lost

I don't recall seeing anything about this. when I opened designer today all my favorites were gone. just dissappeared. I had the basic things that came with designer when it was new. Also, when I try to import a jpg I don't get the normal screen, I automatically get the split screen with the grayscale and the carved pic. Don't know if this is a problem with my computer or the software. Any help would be appreciated.

This sounds like an issue in your profile...with XP each user will have their own settings (and favorites are stored in the profile)...

If you log in as a different user your setting will change...

One other thing to consider is whether you have local admin rights to the machine...is this XP? If so are you running home or Professional? And last do youj log into a domain?
