The fix for assigning a bit with a group selected seems to work good.

If you can actually recreate the problem, you will see a message with instructions on how to fix it.

Confirmed. In 2.005 Dick's project uploads onto the card. In 2.006, Dick's project produces and error message "vector loops don't close properly" instead of uploading onto the card.

If you have not upgraded to 2.006 yet, you might want to wait. This "Vector Loops Don't Close Properly" message pops up for me when I try to upload even simple rectangle and circle vector cuts. If it is only me, this could be a false alarm and I will delete this post. It is just that this may ruin your weekend. Someone with 2.006 try to upload the attached mpc to the card.

I get the same error. This is really important stuff.

Thanks for checking Steve. The problem was also in the beta version. I doubt this will get fixed before the weekend. Now my dust rail project is on hold. The files have been saved in 2.006 and I cannot go back.

I got the same error as you on your project but, I can't duplicate it from a new .mpc. Attached is an example that seems to work okay on my computer. See if it gives you any errors.

It is inconsistent. Sometimes it works and sometimes not. It may have to do with round off errors.
Edit: I changed the size of your circle and then got the error.

Me too!. I reduced the size of the circle to just over 2" in diameter and got the error.

I tried using the cut path tool instead of assigning a bit to full depth and I can't get the error.
