I carved and painted this today for a friend who had to be in the hospital for surgery. She's a huge Huskers fan, so this will be a little welcome home present for the game room.

Glad I could help. Your finishing work looks 10x better than the one I did.

Now my wife wants me to do a "VT Hokie" sign. I am going to try to do one with the hokie bird imposed over the VT letters. Wish me luck.

Here is the sign I'm going to try to do next. It'll need some cleaning up first to sharpen the lines, but should look pretty good when finished.
Very nice, well done! ;)
Bill.

Here's a Hokie pattern. Use "High" Bit Optimization instead of "Best".

Does anyone have the origanal Huskers Pattern (.mpc) I can have. The one that was completely cutout? I'd like to see how it is done.

Just lay out the pattern, select it, Outline Pattern. Click on outline and use cut out (Flip Cut).

That Huskers project came out GREAT!! Can someone help me with laying out one of the PITT Panthers? Is it best if you get the images in b/w?
Thanks again for everyone's help

What is a .PN file and how do you open it?

Randy, this would be a good time to learn to use the 'Search' feature (red tool bar). In short, a .ptn file is a format to hold patterns such as those built into Designer (the stuff under the Shell icon). There have been many posts on how to import .ptn files. Try a quick search, the Search feautre is a very valuable tool and can be your best friend at times.

I was looking for it, but I couldn't find it. The search function is "ok" at best. I did a search for ".ptn" and no results. I did a different search for "import .ptn" and found results. It should report back on anything matching text like most forum search engines, right?
I did manage to find it and yes I use the search function quite much thanks.
This forum has lots of useful information, especially since things keeps breaking and or going wrong.
Thanks again

Randy, I would have thought that it would have come up when searcing for .ptn as well. I just tried ptn, .ptn and *.ptn to no avail. As you say the import ptn does work, wierd though.

Thats what i have been having trouble with. Searching. You would think simple things like ".mpc" , "*.mpc" and so on would work. But it doesn't. Yes, it is weird. I have searching by what I think would be the "question" to ask. A little harder, but oh well.
Thanks!!
Is there antway I could get that husker pattern from you?
Thanks Plaz
