Well here it goes, I purchased my CarveWright (CompuCarve) December last year. I have maybe two days of use out of it, I kept havin variety of different errors, so they asked me to send the machine to CarveWright to repair. They had my machine sent it back and it worked for one project. Ever since then I have had to personaly change out the computer, x-axis controller, swing arm, and buy ski wax to fix possible problems. Needless to say nothing has work. I originally was dealing with Chris Rawls who was very helpful, he went on vacation, now I can't get anyone to return my phone calls.
I truely think this is innovative product, and I really wanted it to work. That why I haven't put any negative feedback on the site. But after 2 months of non-working machine and a poor additude from the other Chris, I really thinking of just turning it back in.

Hello Lucky,

I have had my CompuCarve machine now for 3 months (about the same as yours)
and it's a fantastic machine. I now have close to 50 hours on it
with very few problems of those some were my errors
and a few were not. I even have the same carving bit in the
machine.

I think I would hold off for a while and give LHR a bit more time to
correct your problems. (no not affiliated with LHR)

Here is the start of one of the lamps I make just to show what the
machine is capable of

This is just my thoughts.

Did you update the firmware to the 1.115 version?
