I am working in designer basic version but did not see a section for that version. Is there a way to overlap test letters and weld them so that they become one design? I am working on a monogram to cut and was able to bring in a version from my plotter software but would like to know if it can be done in my Carvewright software.
Thank you in advance.

Is this what you are trying to do? In this case I did each character one at a time, sizing them the same and moving so they touched each other. Then did the outline.

Yes, that's it. I wonder why I couldn't get it to work for me. I'll have to try again. The font I was using is more delicate and has some curved ends. I'll keep working on it.
Thanks for your reply.

That looks fine. You can do the same within Designer itself. (see photo)
