What would make a design carve smaller than it is supposed to?

If you got a "scale to size" message during the machine set up when it is measuring your board and you said yes to scale.

Or most common to newbies, you selected stay under roller without have 7 extra inches on your actual board.

A good idea to have the husband do the same even though he is not the one doing the computer stuff... :wink:
