I just wanted to pass along my experience with Carvewright. I posted recently that I was having an issue with the new Carvewright CX shocking me. I posted it on the board and got several helpful responses. Today, I received a call from Carvewright checking on my issue. I can't say enough about how that impressed me. Not too many companies go out of their way to contact a customer unsolicited attempting to solve an issue posted on a board.

Thanks for caring about customer's issues.

The problem seemed to go away on its own.

My experiences with the technical support team have always been great. They are always professional, courteous, and knowledgeable even though I have, at times, vented some frustrations while talking to them.

I agree. When I talk to the folks about this machine versus some others, I told them initially before I knew any better, I was interested because of price. Then Joe did a great sales job at the Fort Worth Wood Workers show last April. Now when I talk to folks about the machine, I tell them originally the price was what got me interested, but the Forum has been a big pleasant surprise along with the folks at CarveWright who are always helpful. I tell them you are buying more than the just a machine, you are buying some great support.

If you are out of warranty, not a member of CarversClub and your issue requires extended troubleshooting, then, yes, we are supposed to charge an incident fee.

I have never paid a fee.... If it's something short and sweet .. I would assume that if they have to get into researching a problem that there would be a fee .. Call any computer or software Co. for support and they want their fee before they even talk to ya ....
