Check cut motor

I had the the machine running a project when I got message telling me to check cut motor then press enter to proceed. I really did not know what to check for so I checked the flex shaft cable and all cables leading out of it everything looked and felt tight. I then pressed enter to proceed, the machine gave me error code 246 and then the project was aborted. I know of the fix for the error code 246 and that cable is fine. Please help

As I recall most of the cut motor issues have dealt with the cable (the inner drive calbe) not being seated properly into the motor beofre being inserted into the head.

Do a search for cut motor. I posted about this 2 weeks ago in this forum and called The Bard the next day. Is supposedly sending a lid switch and a cut motor speed sensor. STILL waiting for the parts.
