Broken gear On Z truck

Any one seen a broken gear on the Z truck my first ,,thank god I had a spare , been carving for 5 yr now never seen one like this WOW

I snapped a few teeth on one of my Z Gears by Snapping the Flex UP to remove it.... I have never seen the shaft snap clean off.... I would hang on to the gear.... Might be able to pop the shaft out and replace it with one with broken teeth...
