So after taking a few months to remodel my shop and add some new machinery, I'm back in production.

First, a cremation urn I made for my neighbor. The family wanted plain, no color, so I used some maple with a little curl for some interest:

I also did a production run of some small keepsake boxes. Although there is no carving on them, they are kinda cool. Here are a few of the more interesting ones:

68185 Quilted maple with an awesome bookmatch crotch walnut lid
68186 QS White oak with a "heart" walnut lid
68187 Spalted Hackberry with a quilted maple lid dyed blue

Will post more as I get them done. Also getting back into the lumber dealing side of things so that will keep the sawdust flying.

The walnut lids are my favorite.

Here are a couple more...

This maple board had some worm tracks. So I cleaned them out and filled them with black stone.

Here is a quilted maple box with a figured Tigerwood top.

And a classic, Walnut with a Quilted Maple top... it doesn't get much better.

All of these are 10x6x4 tall. I made a run of 10 boxes at the same time of all different wood combos. Easier to set up the machines once and make 10 boxes then set up 10 times to make each box.
