The tree of life had a different name which I hadn't heard before and for the life of me cant remember now. I went online and did an image search for it. Came up with some very interesting and beautiful images but this one resembled the one my friend scribbled out for me on a subway napkin. I used that image to create this pattern. I like the way it came out as well it is for my wife's best friend who wanted something nice for her anniversary.

I agree with you SharonB I think it looks great just the way it is doing more will most likely mess it up but my wife really thinks it need gold leaf and green on it so now I have to find a way of convincing her that it's fine the way it is without hurting her feelings. I think I will carve something else and let her paint and stain it the way she wants to.
