Anyone know why the pair of signs on the right only took an hour to carve [for both] while those on the left took two hours? All the settings were the same. All the wood had the same dimensions [cedar fence palings are good cheap stock].

The graphics are larger and are done with the carving bit which increases carve time.

By the way a coleman cooler doesn't replace an old fashion step ladder, be careful. I'm only saying this
because I've done worse! lol

Good carving by the way...

There is an artist here in town that uses cedar fence railings to make dramatic outdoor scenes for gates... just a thought.

One last thought, you said all of the settings were the same but you want might want to make sure that when you uploaded it to the card that you had the carve quality the same on both. Carve quality during upload from best to optimal can up to triple your carving time.

The left is vector carved text - quick, the one on the right is raster carved text - takes much longer.
